James is manager of TPS Thayer’s Valuation and Litigation Support practice area. He brings extensive experience valuation including business and real estate valuation, litigation support, economic damage determinations, and strategic consulting within various industries. His has worked on projects involving estate and gift tax, dispute resolution, succession planning, insurance claims, buy/sell negotiations, and litigation.

James earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Sam Houston State University in 2007. He received his Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) from Southern Methodist University in 2008.

James is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) spending most of his professional time in the areas of valuation and litigation-related engagements.
Hobbies & Interests
As a native Texan, James enjoys spending time with his beautiful family and overseeing a small beef cattle operation. An avid supporter of wildlife conservation and sustainable land management, he enjoys the simplicity of nature and the comfort of the outdoors.
